Our Luxury Self-Tanning Mousse Collection currently includes 6 product options, which come in 4 shades, 3 delicious scents and 2 sizes (50ml sample sizes available here). Our specially formulated, skin-nourishing formula is designed to penetrate the epidermis layers of the skin, to work closely with your natural pigmentation, adjusting the tone to ensure the most natural-looking tan results.

All products developed by Star Luxury Tanning are formulated with plant-based, natural and organic ingredients and are synthetic chemical and alcohol free, to protect and moisturise the skin, rather than dry it out and damage it. 

We have developed 4 beautiful shades, designed for the 4 most common skin-tone ranges;

1 - "Shimmering Star" for fair skin-tones

2 - "Shining Star" for light to medium skin-tones

3 - "Shooting Star" for medium and olive skin-tones

4 - "Shadow Star" for medium to dark brown skin-tones (also used for competitions)

Shimmering Star - The best choice for redheads and fair-skinned people: skin type 1. Gives a natural glow without leaving any orange tones, This shade is also perfect if you are looking for a subtle, natural glow, for example, for younger kids attending pageant & dance events or older ladies attending weddings.

Shining Star - Our most popular shade. The best choice for blondes and people with a light to medium skin-tone: skin type 2. Developed to work with the natural pigmentation of the skin, this shade results in a beautiful golden glow. This shade is also used for our Bridal Tan Collection.

Shooting Star - Developed for skin type 3: people with olive-based and light brown skin-tones. This shade is the best option for Asian people and those from a Mediterranean background, with our specially developed formula working with the natural pigmentation to enhance and darken the natural skin-tone. Shooting Star is also a popular choice with dancers and pageant girls who are looking for a deeper colour and a darker result.

Shadow Star - This shade has multiple uses. Initially developed for skin type 4: medium to dark brown skin-tones, our moisture-enriched formula is absolutely perfect for enhancing the natural skin-tone by moisturising and nourishing the skin, removing an signs of an ashy appearance. This shade is also designed for darkening any lighter pigmentation areas you may wish to hide or even out from your naturally dark skin. this is particularly effective for people with melanin-deficiencies e.g. Vitiligo. The third use for our Shadow Star shade is Competition Tanning e.g. Dance and Pageant events, for those looking for an extra dark result.

Directions for Use:

Apply your Star Luxury Tanning Mousse with a good quality Tanning Mitt, like our Luxury Black Velvet Tanning Glove (which comes with a Lifetime Guarantee).

For the best results, exfoliate your skin well between 4 and 24 hours before your tanning application.

Shake bottle well before use. 

Pump the Self Tanning Mousse onto your Tanning Glove and apply to the skin, using circular motions to blend. To achieve a deeper result, allow the first application to dry before applying a second coat.

There will be an instant colour to guide you to where the product has been applied, although the guide colour will be lighter than the final result expected once your tan has fully developed.

Wear loose clothing to allow the skin to breathe and the tan to develop evenly.

Allow 8 hours for the formula to fully develop before removing the residue from your skin using non-fruit based shower gel/soap and water. Do not use anything abrasive ie. facecloth, exfoliating mitts/gel, rough towel etc. while rinsing off the residue.

We do not recommend using any DOVE products, as they leave a residue on the skin, which forms a barrier and negatively affects the development of your tan.

DO NOT RINSE WITH WATER ONLY - This will not wash the residue from the skin fully.

Once the water runs clear, you are ready to shine like the STAR you are for at least nine days! Make sure to pat yourself instead of using a rubbing motion, when drying your skin with a towel.

Extend the life of your tan, to last for up to two weeks, using our Tan Extending Moisturiser.

To remove your tan and/or to exfoliate and prepare your skin for a fresh application of tanning mousse or spray-tan, we advise using our Luxury Skin Cleansing Mousse.

Every purchase of our Tan Removing Skin Cleansing Mousse comes with a complimentary Exfoliating Mitt.
